The Lively Lewis Story
It all started with a simple inspiration to
share family life with others.
Parents and grandparents love to share stories about their quirky, funny and super-smart kids.
As we, too, indulged in this pastime, we had a thought: “Family life is a story – a series of lessons learned. So why don’t we share it in video format and see what happens?”
Since all of us share creative impulses, we decided to go for it.
The launch
The Lively Lewis Channel began by blending family fun with educational storytelling. Our goal was to entertain and inspire young audiences. While there is endless content for kids to consume, we wanted ours to include something extra: positive life lessons in the midst of zany fun.
The breakthrough
We enjoyed the effort behind Lively Lewis no matter the results. But a milestone came when we were featured on the YouTube Kids app. This exposure brought a wave of new viewers, confirming that the blend of storytelling and positive messages resonated with the audience. It gave us renewed energy to continue creating inspiring and entertaining videos.
With kids in school and a career, Lively Lewis sometimes requires us to stretch and sacrifice. As parents, we can struggle with the same balance we hope to teach our children. Sometimes life is a tightrope, but at the end of the day, everyone steps off safely.
Why we do it
What is success? For us it’s knowing our work is having an uplifting impact on children and parents. We love hearing from viewers who tell us how the content is meaningful to them and their homes. It’s also an opportunity for us to cooperate as a family in an endeavor that is greater than ourselves.
What’s next?
As we look ahead, we’re planning an animated series and exploring merchandise opportunities. Our goal is to help the channel reach even more families while continuing to inspire creativity and curiosity in young minds.
